"It's far better to buy a wonderful company at a fair price than a fair company at a wonderful price." — Warren Buffett
Buying a business isn't just paperwork; it's a sparring match. You walk in thinking it's just numbers, and then you realize it's people, systems, leverage, debt, culture, all throwing punches at once.
Right now, I'm training my stance. Learning SBA rules, practicing due diligence, running models on cash flow. Shadowboxing with deals, so when the real one lands, my presence is steady. And I'm not talking about my nights in New York, but you should check out how we roll on those nights.
The dojo mindset keeps me humble. I'm not swinging wild to land any deal. I'm refining. Because in acquisitions, like martial arts, a reckless strike costs you more than a missed one. Trust in the flow like Bruce Lee and be like water.
